The combination of media and marketing in today's connected world is now a reality. The ever-changing technology within media and marketing creates complexity in business. This means you need to have practical and theoretical knowledge in order to succeed in today's business environment.  Companies require an effective integrated marketing approach by cleverly leveraging on creative aspects of multimedia production, among other things, in order to achieve greater returns on their advertising.

Within this new degree for 2012, students will be taught the theory behind modern marketing principles and develop a thorough understanding of both traditional and emerging media and the practical skills to utilise these technologies in a marketing context.

The half year internship component is an integral part of the fourth year honours program and develops students skills and experience with relevant industry partners.
