Special Consideration for Supplementary Exams - For each assessment task affected by an event, the university will attempt to provide one more opportunity to sit the assessment. If a further event affects the student's ability to partake in this assessment activity, there will be not further provisions made. Please note that if you wish to withdraw from the unit, do not sit for the supplementary exam.

Exam Clash - Upon the release of  the supplementary exam timetable, should you find a clash of timings for the supplementary exams that have been granted to you or, if you have been granted a supplementary exam but do not find your student number listed, please notify us immediately by calling 9850 1050.

Fit to Sit - Macquarie University operates under a 'Fit to Sit' model. This means that in sitting an exam, a student declares themselves fit to do so. Therefore, if a student is feeling unfit to sit their exam, they should not do so. If a student sits an exam knowing they are unfit to do so, they will not be granted Special Consideration.

If you are sitting for the Supplementary/Deferred supplementary examination and if this is your last unit to graduate, your Graduation Ceremony will be in April 2020 and not September 2019.
